Blue Heron Pines Golf Club, now boasting two championship 18-hole courses, has been a trend-setting golf club from the start. When the original West Course opened in 1993, it set the tone for upscale daily-fee golf at the Jersey Shore. The Stephen Kay design - featuring over 6,800 yards of exquisite fairways, manicured greens, blue water and strategically placed bunkers - has once again been recognized by Golf Digest with a rating of "4 Stars" for 2000-2001. The West Course will host the 2003 USGA Public Links Championship.

The 18-hole "West" course at the Blue Heron Pines Golf Club facility in Cologne, New Jersey features 6,777 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73 and it has a slope rating of 136 on Bent grass. Designed by Stephen Kay, ASGCA, the West golf course opened in 1993. Eric Quinn manages the course as the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional.
