"4 Star" Golf Digest Rating May 2001 issue
Director of Instruction: David Lee &
Bruce Celucci

Blue Heron Pines Golf Club, now boasting
two championship 18-hole courses, has been a trend-setting golf club
from the start. When the original West Course opened in
1993, it set
the tone for upscale daily-fee golf at the Jersey Shore. The Stephen
Kay design - featuring over 6,800 yards of exquisite fairways,
manicured greens, blue water and strategically placed bunkers - has
once again been recognized by Golf Digest with a rating of
"4 Stars" for 2000-2001. The West Course will host the
2003 USGA Public Links Championship.
Close to the casinos and the beach at the
southern New Jersey Shore, our daily fee golf club is perfect for
visitors on vacation or for local residents seeking the ultimate
golf outing. Blue Heron Pines is the only daily fee facility in New
Jersey to have been awarded 4 Stars in both quality and service from
Golf Digest in their 1998-1999 edition of Places to Play.
Located just 15 minutes from the Atlantic City casinos.
The 18-hole "West" course at the Blue
Heron Pines Golf Club facility in Cologne, New Jersey features 6,777
yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating
is 73 and it has a slope rating of 136 on Bent grass. Designed by
Stephen Kay, ASGCA, the West golf course opened in 1993. Eric Quinn
manages the course as the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional.
